Assistant Teacher Toddler - Immediate Opening

​

The Assistant Toddler Teacher will work in a classroom for children ages 1 to 3 years old. The Teacher will build relationships with the students and their families to ensure the highest possible quality of care and education. The right candidates will be high energy and have the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment. They must clear a full background check and must pass health screening, be able to lift 30 lbs. and move freely around a typical classroom in order to safely supervise the children at all times. The shift for this position is Full time, M-F. ($11 to $15 depending on qualifications)

Qualifications​​

  • AA in early childhood education (preferred) or

  • CDA in Infant/Toddler and two years of professional child care experience 

Lead Teacher Preschool - Starting Fall 2024

​

The young preschool Lead Teacher will work in a classroom for children ages 3 to 4 years old. The Teacher will build relationships with the students and their families to ensure the highest possible quality of care and education. The right candidates will be high energy and have the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment. They must clear a full background check and must pass health screening, be able to lift 30 lbs. and move freely around a typical classroom in order to safely supervise the children at all times. The shift for this position is Full time, M-F. ($14 to $17 depending on qualifications)

Qualifications​​

  • BA or AA in early childhood education or

  • CDA in Preschool and two years of professional child care experience 

School Age Care Program Teacher - Fall 2024
 

The School Age Care Program Teacher will work as part of a team to ensure safety and enrichment for children in kindergarten to fourth grade. Responsibilities may include supervision and implementation of activities indoors and outside, supervision of transition to and from school at the bus stop, and transportation of children in the Diamond Street Van. The right candidates will be high energy and have the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment. They must clear a full background check and must pass health screening, be able to lift 30 lbs. and move freely around a typical classroom in order to safely supervise the children at all times. The shift for this position is Part Time, M-F. ($11 to $17 depending on qualifications)

Qualifications

  • (if driving the van) Clean driving record and age 25 or older

  • High school diploma or GED and 2 years (2500 hours) of verified child care experience

Bible Lesson and Specials Teacher - Fall 2024
 

The Bible and Specials Teacher will create and teach lessons in Bible and any other areas of interests (including art, outdoor recreation, nature, and physical activity) for children ages 2 to 6.  The right candidates will be high energy and have the able to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment. They must clear a full background check and must pass health screening, be able to lift 30 lbs. and move freely around a typical classroom in order to safely supervise the children at all times. The shift for this position is Full Time (32 hours with full benefits) or Part Time, September to June with summers optional. ($14 to $18 per hour)

Qualifications​

  • AA degree in Education related field

  • 1 year of professional child care experience
