Before & After School Care is available to students in grades 1 through five. Transportation to and from the center is provided for students attending Akron Elementary School or Fulton Elementary School by Diamond Street Early Childhood Center on 11th street.  The hours of operation for before school care are 6:30 am to 8:15 am, breakfast provided. Our after school hours are 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm, snack provided.  Activities include age appropriate games, art and craft activities, and outside play. Space and time are made available for children to do their homework as needed.

Full day and half day kindergarten is available at Diamond Street Early Childhood Center on 11th street.  This program provides a kindergarten curriculum to help them succeed to 1st grade, whether they attend our half day kindergarten (which coincides with the Ephrata School District kindergarten classes) or take advantage of DSECC's full day kindergarten.
